Welcome to part one (of three) of my ‘best of 2013’ posts. It’s been much harder to construct than I first thought as I do own a fair bit and like to try out so many different brands and products! Saying this, I’ve picked out the products I’ve used for pretty much the entire year/ always gone back to and those that have become staples in my makeup bag that I’ll most definitely be repurchasing again.

When I eventually find an under-eye concealer that ticks all the boxes (I’ve tried so many but it’s my makeup mission for this year!) then I think I’ll finally have come to the point where I can stop looking for products that work for me... I’ve got them all here! I seriously struggle to find fault in any of these products which surprises me, especially when it comes to the foundations as they’re both less than half the price of most high end alternatives! They both have an incredible finish and fit the bill with exactly what I want from a day/night foundation (Bourjois being a light, just like skin coverage with a dewy healthy glow, Max factor is quite a full coverage and looks great in flash photos) also when set with a light brush over of Mac powder they don’t budge at all!

If you have any concealer (really high coverage but not drying) recommendations then please leave a comment below or tweet them to me @zoeywitherspoon! Feel free to leave your links below if you’ve done any 2013 favourites as well and I’ll check them out, they’re my favourite posts to read as you know everything included must be good!
