I’ve (unfortunately) got fine hair but I absolutely love it to be as big and voluminous as possible, so can never resist any products aimed at creating just this! My favourite hair discovery of the year is definitely the bumble and bumble thickening hairspray, that I accidentally got lured into by the sample size attached to a mag! I really didn’t want to like it because it’s quite pricey (around £19) but I think in this case you really do get what you pay for! It does an amazing job at making my hair look and feel so much thicker and gives it the life that my hair usually lacks. I’ve personally not been able to achieve such good results using any other products and I'd definitely recommend this to absolutely everyone with fine hair!

I really cannot get enough of Topshop’s hair scrunchie range, they’re just so cute and I love the whole 90's vibe! This burgundy velvet one hasn’t left my hair since I purchased it and I’m looking forward to expanding my collection, that olive striped one is most definitely next on my list...

The section of hair products I want to venture into this year is the world of hair perfumes, I just love the idea of fragrant hair and can only imagine what a coconut fragranced one would be like! I noticed whilst working on the Chanel counter just before Christmas that they do hair perfumes in Coco and No5... a girl can dream! In the meantime I’m on the hunt for other brands and varieties to fill this void in my hair routine.

This is the last post of my 'The best of 2013’ sequence, I’ve tried to keep them as short and to the point as possible as there were so many favourites to get through this year but I hope they’ve been somewhat useful and have inspired you to try out some of the products :) ! If you’d like to view the previous posts you can see them here: makeupface and body. You can view my 2012 favourites here too, if you want to compare and see the difference a year makes!
