Okay so it’s not even January yet, but as you can see I’ve been hard at work in the sales this year and this is the result of two shopping sprees (Brighton and Bluewater) and a few online orders! My absolute favourite purchase is that beautiful Zara plaid jacket which you’d have already seen me post if you follow me on Instagram (zoeywitherspoon). It’s the one that I’ve been lusting over for a while now and after only finding one size XL in Bluewater and practically crying about it, today a singular size small was hanging there waiting for me in the Brighton branch! It was clearly meant to be. Don’t you just love it when that happens?!
I’ve just realised all of the clothes bar the patent skirt were bought from Zara, although I guess that’s hardly surprising! The PU patent skirt has got to be a close second favourite, I cannot believe I managed to snap it up for just £10! So happy to finally have some patent hanging up in my wardrobe and I think the wine colour makes it so wearable. Also from Asos, these beaut leather cut out ankle boots were the biggest bargain, at £17.00 down from £58.00 it would really be rude not to...
Beauty wise I was actually well restrained and only ended up with a few bits from the Boots half price gift set sale. Those bath salts actually smell so delicious and at only £3 I really wish I bought a few more of them! The Yankee Candle store had a sale on everything, so I couldn’t resist a few scented additions and I think I’ve discovered my new favourite; ‘soft blanket’. If you haven’t smelt it already then I really urge you to!
Despite not actually having a flat in London yet (this will have changed come January, fingers and toes crossed), I’m well on my way to putting my stamp on my bedroom and making it homely and beautiful! I’ve gone for cream cotton and satin jacquard bedding with a pop of colour in terms of a gorgeous raspberry velvet (the photos really aren’t doing it justice). How cute are those little chalk board slate hearts too?! I think they’ll be perfect for the new kitchen..
This has to have been my favourite, most successful year for sales shopping in a long time and looking back to my ‘January Sales Hit List’ post, I think I’ve done a pretty good job! Bedding and bits for my new London room ✓, a patent skirt ✓, NYE outfit (I’m not going anywhere that requires a dressy dress) ✓, and I’ve definitely had a good go at buying my little share of Zara ✓! I may also have a sneaky order on it’s way from House of Fraser (shhhh, that’s the last of my sales purchases.. I promise!).
