Since I’ve been working in London, I haven’t been able resist a regular detour to Oxford street and I’ve been finding some great pieces in the flagship Primark store! Along with nearly the entire outfit from my previous outfit post, I’ve also snapped up this bargain mesh jumper and pleather skirt! I always get that addictive sense of achievement when I walk out of Primark with amazing bargain finds, a feeling true to a shopaholic that I’m sure most of you can relate to!
The mesh jumper is so great for layering and I love that it shows a glimpse of what’s underneath whilst adding another texture. The pleather addition around the neckline and rolled up sleeves make it look a lot more ‘finished’ than most other mesh garments I’ve seen, which is a winner for the teeny tiny £6 price tag!
The pleather skirt is surprisingly again, such lovely quality and a really nice high waisted fit, secured with an elasticated waistband. A quick tip if you do purchase this, don’t hang it up on a tight gripping hanger, as I saw so many in store that were left with indentations which definitely ruined it! I’m also looking forward to wearing this with cropped jumpers/ loose cropped tops for nights out!
Of course my favourite Topshop boots have creeped their way back into a post, I haven’t been able to take them off since purchasing them well over a month ago! I think they particularly work with this outfit, adding in yet more textures of black.
Apologies for the awful lighting and mismatched indoors/ outdoors photos, but this was a little experiment to see how I can continue to post outfits throughout the Winter! I’m still on the hunt for a solution without having to purchase lighting, mother nature will not beat me!
So there we have it, two of my favourite elements of the moment- tartan and texture! Let me know what you think! Are there any particular combos you’re loving at the moment?
