For a while I was mixing a few lipsicks and laquers together to achieve my ultimate shade, but that’s all changed now I’ve got my hands on this Peach Sundae lipstick from Topshop. As you can see from my swatches it’s peachier than Shygirl, yet it has the same creamy, nude base tones. They have exactly the same finish too yet Topshop’s Peach Sundae isn’t drying in the slightest.
I also added in a swatch of Mac’s Ravishing, just for another comparison that shows a midway tone between Shygirl and Peachy Sundae. Obviously the shade is a fair bit brighter so is great for those days when you’re after a bolder lip.
I’m a big fan of Topshop cosmetics packaging, especially when it comes to their lipstick designs. Pretty packaging is always a nice bonus! I’m struggling to describe the scent of the lipstick, but it’s so sweet and delicious (even more so than Macs!) which, again adds to my love for this product! I’m also rather attracted to the £8.00 price tag, I think it’s a fair and affordable price for an everyday lipstick.
I’ve been particularly loving wearing this shade with fresh face minimal makeup, perhaps a few swoops of peach toned blush and then teamed with a pastel blue jumper/top. Peach sundae and pastel blue has got to be my favourite combo at the moment and they just seem to work with my skin tone- who says pastels and light shades were just for Summer?!
I think my hunt for my PERFECT lipstick has come to an end and I will never be without this in my handbag! Have you tried out any Topshop lipsticks? Have you got a ‘signature’ lip colour?
