£1 Moroccan Oil

The moroccan oil hype. I’ve wanted to jump on the bandwagon for agess now but just couldn’t justify splurging, on what I think is quite an expensive price tag. I have quite fine hair too, so wasn’t 100% it would be right for me.

Whilst in the pound shop last week stocking up on baby oil and nutella (cannot live without!), this conditioner instantly caught my eye. It’s from Argan Oil and contains moroccan oil with promises of ‘rejuvenating and rehydrating, leaving hair shiny, smooth and healthy’. Knowing the prices of both argan oil and moroccan oil products, I definitely didn’t hesitate when purchasing this £1 bargain!

I’ve used it twice now, and have noticed an absolutely HUGE difference! My hairs soo soft and shiny (even on my ombred ends). After shampooing, I applied it throughout the lengths of my hair, up to about an inch before my scalp. As I mentioned, I have quite fine hair so I’ve been extremely surprised to see that this hasn’t weighed it down or made it greasy in the slightest, it’s still bouncy and full of volume, yet incredibly shiny. I’ve only been leaving it on for a couple of minutes, as you would do a usual conditioner but I also think it’d be great to use as a hair mask.

As it’s a conditioner containing moroccan oil rather than the pure oil itself, I think this is more suited towards fine hair or for those that wash their hair daily. I’d highly recommend to everyone to pick one of these up- for the quality of the conditioner and the results it has achieved, I cannot believe that it was just £1!

  6. I nearly picked this up the other day when I was in the £1 shop but had the same doubts as you, I have really flat, fine hair and always get scared when trying new conditioners because i'm prone to greasyness too! Will definitely be adding this to the collection though next time I go in!
