Roses Are RED ♥

So with Valentines day just four days away, I thought it was about time I did a themed post. I'm a complete sucker for it this year, I'm feeling all lovey dovey and am loving all of the valentines themed shop windows, advertisements and displays of gifts- It's just such a cute holiday and I can't wait!

Roses are red and today, so is my high street lust list:

Cold shoulder cut out top, £35 from Oasis
These tops are everywhere at the moment and are a great way to look quite dressy (with a pair of jeans and killer heels), whilst looking relaxed at the same time. They're that perfect in the middle 'smart/casual' go to garment.

Flojoey buckled ankle boots, £80 from Aldo
These boots slightly remind me of the well-known Chloe boots, along with their replicas that have become extremely popular, particularly within the blogger world. I love the subtle gold finish around the toe and heel and they're a great statement to add a splash of colour to any outfit. They're also available in taupe and black, I know it will not be long until I own at least one of the colours!

Lace trim cut out back playsuit, £25 from Boohoo
As an easy alternative to a dress for a night out, picking out a playsuit means your outfit is sorted. The high neck and sleeveless cut makes this one right up my street and the lace adds a little detail without being too overpowering along with the bright red fabric.

Halfway blouse by goldie, £46 from Topshop
This two tone shirt is simple yet effective. I can imagine it being worn loose over jeans/leggings with a pair of heels and a statement necklace around the collar creating an effortlessly casual/smart yet cute outfit. It's shirts like these that make me realise that not everything has to be figure hugging or tucked in and it's nice to have variety.

Tomato lace trim socks, £3.50 from Topshop
I'm so into ankle socks at the moment, and these ones are just so cute. They'd look great peeking out the top of hi tops, or even worn with chunky strapped platform wedges for an alternative night time look.

Midi dress with lattice straps, £25 from Asos
The midi length hem line still remains to be my favourite out of the dress department. When they're figure hugging like this one they are just so flattering and can be dressed up with heel/wedges for night, or dressed down with boots and a leather jacket for the day. This particular one would look great worn with a simple high pony tail so you could properly see the cut out strap detail.

Luckier hi-vamp wedges, £80 from Topshop
Being a wedges girl, I'd favour a chunky heel over a delicate court shoe any day of the week and I'm so glad to see that they're everywhere on the high street! The straps balance out the chunkiness of the platform and I can imagine they'd practically go with everything and be very easy to walk in which is a welcomed bonus.

Embellished monokini swimsuit, £27 from RiverIsland
Monokinis will 100% be entering my wardrobe this summer! This one is just the perfect shape with subtle cut out details and print. I'm still unsure what to do with the whole tan line issue, how do people wear these abroad?

There we have it- yet another wish/lust list, but this time it's a cute lovey dovey theme :)♥. What's your favourite red item?

Love Zoey xo
